Breakers Senior Erin Woods Signs Letter of Intent to Chico State


Breakers Senior Erin Woods signed her letter of intent to Chico State. Erin is very thankful for the opportunity to continue playing soccer in college. Erin knew as a freshman and sophomore that she wanted to play soccer in college. Erin began looking into college ID camps. The first one she attended was at Chico State. Erin chose Chico for their soccer program, as well as the school atmosphere. Erin plans to study kinesiology and has plans to become a Physical Therapist. Breakers Pick-Up starts this Friday- 4-5:30 at Good Shepherd School

Breakers Pick-Up is a free additional day of soccer for Breakers players. Players will be warmed-up and then grouped into small sided games and allowed to "just play". Groups will be across gender and age lines so that girls and boys will play together and get to know each other. The groupings will reflect skill, experience and physical stature, but will not follow any strict age guidelines. The "Pick-Up" days are intended for Breakers players ages U14 and younger. Breakers 02B White Win Championship at Coppa d’Oro Tournament


  The Breakers 02B White (U11) played in the Juventus Coppa d’Oro this weekend, in Redwood City. The U11 boys played up an age group, in the U12 “Samba” division. Breakers played their first match against East Bay Eclipse SC Boys U12 and ended up with a 4-0 shutout win. Their second game resulted in a very close 2-1 win over SMC Star 01B Premier.  They boys came back the next day to face San Carlos United Stealth Blue in their third match. Breakers 02B White (U11) Win Championship at Breakers Halloween Cup 2013


Breakers 02B (U11) White won the championship at the Santa Cruz Breakers Halloween Cup. The boys played their first match against ACC Mavericks and won 9-1. Their second match resulted in a 3-2 win over Sunnyvale Alliance SC Bulls, in a tough fought match. Match three of the tournament was an 8-0 shout-out win over West Marin YSL/Ross Valley, sending them to the final. The Breakers faced Sunnyvale Alliance SC Bulls again in the final. Breakers 97GW (U16 Girls) Win Championship at Breakers Cup 2013


Breakers 97GW (U16 Girls) team took first place in the Gold division at Breakers Cup 2013. On the first day, the girls won both of their matches: 4-1 against Mustang Impact and 3-1 against Ajax United Elite. On the second day, the team beat Diablo FC 3-0 and finished at the top of their group, taking them to the championship match against Cal Blues. The final game ended 2-0 in favor of Breakers 97GW. Breakers 02B White (U11 Boys) Win Championship at Ballistic United Summer Classic 2013


Breakers 02B White won the championship at the Ballistic United Summer Classic, in Pleasanton, CA. The boys played their first game against Ballistic United Premier and won 6-0, in what would be their fist of many shutouts that weekend. They won their second game 10-0 against South San Jose Strykers Blue. They came back the second day and won their third game 6-0 against Ballistic United Elite. Breakers 04G (U9 Girls) Win Championship at Breakers Cup 2013


Breakers 04G (U9 Girls) won the championship at Breakers Cup 2013. The girls competed in the Silver division. They won their first game of the tournament, in a 4-0 shutout against Ajax United. Their second game resulted in a 5-2 win over Livermore Fusion. On the second day of the tournament, they played their third game against Mustang Wildfire. The girls beat the Mustangs 8-0, putting them at the top of their group. The girls then went on to play Tracy YS Xtreme in the final match.
